For more than one century, Champagne Pierre Moncuit magnifies the terroir of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a mythical grand cru of the Côte des Blancs. The house has been able to transmit from one generation to the next a particular spirit, an audacity and above all a true passion for the craft of winemaking.
Since the 1980s, Nicole Moncuit, Pierre's daughter, has signed the wines of the house, becoming one of the first and still rare female winemakers in Champagne. His brother Yves manages the marketing. Woman of conviction, Nicole immediately established her style: a unique style in the service of the terroir, which has brought numerous awards to the wines of the estate.
Her signature ? A grape variety, a terroir, a vintage. This apparent simplicity actually requires complex savoir-faire.
Following in the footsteps of her mother Nicole for several years, Valérie Charpentier is now at the head of Champagne Pierre Moncuit. She naturally perpetuates the style of the house, as an evidence, with a pronounced taste for well done things.
